Early on the morning of September 27, 2024 Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina. The Rotary Club of Little River responded to the relief efforts and sponsored a fundraiser called a Night of Music. Over $20,000 was raised. The Rotary Club of Little River donated those funds to various charities in the Western NC region devasted by the storm as well as to North Strand Helping Hand that took 100’s of pounds of meat to the region.
